Morgan County Career Day Registration
After several years of very successful Job Fairs in Morgan County, we've been asked to partner with Berkeley Springs High School for a Career Fair on April 25, 2024.
As anyone with a business in Morgan County knows, good help is hard to find. With the Career Fair, we're hoping to show our High School students options for paths that will help them become your next best employee.
While we encourage you to bring applications if you're hiring, we also encourage you to bring literature that will show attendees what schooling or training they might need for your industry, and how they can grow in your business. If you can, please bring things from your industry that the students can look at, touch, and really get excited about.
Set up starts at 10:00am, tables are on a first come, first serve basis. Once you unload at the front door of Berkeley Springs High School, please follow the signs to park on the baseball field. You must be completely set up by 11:15am when the first students arrive. There will be a lunch break from 2:30-3:30, and Blue Ridge Community & Technical College has been kind enough to offer box lunches for all of the businesses setting up. These will be available starting at 10am. There will also be snacks and beverages for the businesses. The Career Fair will be open to the general public, including job seekers, virtual students, and homeschool students from 3:30-4:30. We ask anyone setting up to commit to stay until 4:30. Please feel free to bring giveaways for the students!
It is free to all local businesses, we hope you will register to attend!
Thank you to CNB Bank, Inc, the Morgan County Economic Development Authority, Blue Flame, Inc., Blue Ridge Community & Technical College, and Edward Jones for helping make it happen, and to Berkeley Springs High School for hosting us!
