Chamber Staff

Jules Happy Rone

Executive Director

Happy Rone was born and raised in Morgan County.  As part of a touring theater company, she spent her childhood traveling, but no matter where they traveled, she was always ready to come home to Berkeley Springs.  She has been a local business owner and a member of the Chamber of Commerce for 26 years. Her shop, Jules Enchanting Gifts, is located on Fairfax Street in the heart of downtown Berkeley Springs. She brings her winsome energy, her knowledge of the local economy and her many years of experience working with her neighboring shops to her role as Executive Director. She has worked side-by-side with the Town of Bath and the Chamber on numerous projects such as Apple Butter Festival, Cocoa Crawl, and Small Business Saturday. Happy will be working remotely and is available to the membership via email, phone, or appointment.  She will be in charge of membership meetings, classes, ribbon cuttings, events, social media, promoting our events and businesses via newspaper/radio/etc, and of course working with all of our fantastic committees.  Happy considers it an honor to take her turn carrying the vision for the town that so many amazing people have carried before her.  It's her hope that she can honor everything that's come before, while adding to the magical place she feels blessed to call her home.

John Patrick Arwood-Slate

Executive Administrator

"I was born and raised right here in Morgan County, and I've lived in Berkeley Springs for a combined total of 25 years. From a very young age I have recognized Berkeley Springs / Morgan County as an incredibly unique and beautiful area rich in history, landscape, and art. Without Berkeley Springs and its community I would have NEVER been as successful in the arts as I have been and for that I'm eternally grateful; I think the best way for me to prove how grateful I truly am is to give back to this community in a way that benefits the commerce, local businesses and assures that all future generations get to benefit from this wonderful town in a similar way as I got to." John Patrick will be in the office 8-4 Monday through Friday to answer the phone, answer emails, help our members, update the website, keep up with all of the paperwork/invoices/etc, send the email blasts, work to support the executive director, and generally be a fantastic addition to the Chamber.

I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities. Let's connect.
