Income Taxes

  • C Corporations

    • Filing Deadline: April 15, 2025

    • Extension Deadline: October 15, 2025

    • Form: CIT-120​

  • S Corporations & Partnerships (Pass-Through Entities)

    • Filing Deadline: March 15, 2025

    • Extension Deadline: September 15, 2025

    • Form: PTE-100​

 

Estimated Tax Payments

  • Quarterly Due Dates:

    • April 15, 2025

    • June 15, 2025

    • September 15, 2025

    • January 15, 2026​

 

Sales & Use Tax

​

  • Sales tax in West Virginia is 6%, businesses inside Town of Bath limits also must collect a 1% Bath City tax.  Both are remitted to the State Tax Department.

  • Monthly Filers: Due on the 20th of the following month

  • Quarterly Filers: Due on the 20th of the month following the quarter's end

  • Annual Filers: Due on January 20, 2026​

 

Withholding Tax

​

  • Quarterly Filers: Returns due on the last day of the month following each quarter's end:

    • April 30, 2025

    • July 31, 2025

    • October 31, 2025

    • January 31, 2026​

 

Business & Occupation (B&O) Tax

​

  • Monthly Filers: Due on the last day of the following month

  • Quarterly Filers: Due on the last day of the month following the quarter's end​

 

Property Tax

​

  • Assessment Date: July 1, 2025

    • Property is assessed as of this date for the following tax year

  • Tax Bills Issued: Typically in July of the following year​
