The Berkeley Springs - Morgan County Chamber of Commerce sends out two emails a week.  The first one on Mondays is about upcoming Chamber events and what we're doing for our members.  (Monthly Meetings, Special Events, Etc.) 

 

The second email comes out every Thursday and it's all about our amazing Chamber members.  Your sales, your specials, your celebrations, your events. Whenever you want to tell the world about something you're doing, the Thursday email blast is here to help!

 

Here's how it works:

 

• Members can send an email to Admin@BerkeleySpringsChamber.com by the end of the day on Wednesday.  Mailing or bringing in a printed out copy means that we have to retype the whole thing, email is best.

• Make sure to include an image or graphic if possible - and please make sure that it's in .jpg or .png format.  Our email program doesn't like word documents, pdfs, or PowerPoint presentations, sorry!

• Make sure to tell us who, what, when, where and why, and don't forget to double check the information you're sending us.  We won't know if your dates or times are wrong, and we're not responsible for any incorrect information you provide.

• Please make your listing as short and sweet as possible.  Think Facebook post length, not 3 page book report. 

• If you have a website or Facebook page/event, please send that link along as well.

• Make sure you check your email on Thursdays to see what's going on in Berkeley Springs!

 

A few notes:

• We reserve the right to edit your listing for space or formatting purposes.

• While this hasn't been an issue, it should go without saying that we won't share any rude or vulgar listings.  (But we’re saying it just for good measure.)

• If the listing is time sensitive (i.e. here's a listing for an event taking place in 3 weeks that we want to promote) we will keep the listing in until that date passes, you don't need to send it in every week unless something changes.

• We will include listings for up to 6 weeks before the event.

• If the listing is not for a specific event or special and you just want to remind people about your business/service/etc., we will run it for that week alone.  If you'd like to send another listing the following week, you are more than welcome.

• Any Chamber member in good standing is invited to participate in the email blasts each and every week.

• We have almost 200 members at this point, which means that as much as we adore each and every one of you, we do not have time to visit each one of your websites and Facebook pages every week to check and see if you might have something we should share.  It's your job to send us the information if you want to be featured in the Thursday email blasts, it’s our job to make it happen.
